Film Club
This year we marked the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe and Japan. During the remembrance season we mainly think about the women and men who, in all sorts of ways, gave of themselves for the freedoms we enjoy today. We also think of their suffering and the challenges faced by the veterans of war. But what of the children! This month's film tells the story of a group of young orphaned Holocaust survivors and the challenges they faced when relocated to the wilds of the Lake District.
