Our next ALPHA course begins on Wednesday 10th September 2025, 7pm - 9pm.
This will be our 9th ALPHA course! It will be held in Earls Colne Church where we meet together and have a light supper at 7pm before beginning the session at 7.30pm. The course runs for 11 weeks and includes a day away.
11 weeks may sound long but it flies by and we always feel a wrench when it ends.
Alpha is for anyone who is curious about faith or wanting to investigate and deepen their own - no previous knowledge is necessary. It is a space for discussion and and exploration of the Christian faith. Each session includes a short talk, a video and group discussion on that week’s topic. Topics include reading the Bible, prayer and who is Jesus.

Growing in Faith
A series of Saturday morning workshops
These Saturday morning sessions are offered to anyone within the Hinckford Deanery and will take place at St Andrew’s Parish Hall in Halstead, Parsonage Street CO9 2LD. There is limited parking in the hall carpark but further spaces are available on the High Street. The workshops will run from 10am - 1pm. Booking is not essential but helpful to have an idea of numbers.
